FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS

The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research,( Dubna, Russia), European Laboratory for Particle Physics (CERN) (Geneva, Switzerland) and the Institute for Nuclear Research and Nuclear Energy of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences ( Sofia, Bulgaria ) organize the XIX International Symposium on Nuclear Electronics and Computing NEC'2003.

The meeting and the accommodation will be held at the Hotel of the Bulgarian National Electric Company in St. Konstantine & Helene Black Sea resort village near the ancient Bulgarian town Varna.

Submission of full papers - September 1, 2003

The book of abstracts is planned to be published by the beginning of the Simposium. The Proceedings of the Simposium will be published after the Workshop by the Publishing Department of JINR. All contributions will be reviewed but only a limited number will be selected for the Proceedings. For any information concerning publications please contact by e-mail: nec2003@cv.jinr.ru. Submitted materials should be in English. One should use MSWord 97 or newer (.rtf) format 12pt, 150X220mm. Size restrictions: for 30 min. talks - 10 pages, for 20 min contributions - 8 pages, for posters - 5 pages.

REGISTRATION FEE

The registration fee is 340 USD and includes conference fee, full-board accommodation at the rest home, local transportation, meals and refreshments during conference days. Payments should be made AT THE SYMPOSIUM DURING THE REGISTRATION by cash.
