In a large organization like CERN, common resources must be shared by the entire community in the most efficient way. The service of the EP Electronics Pool is one of these common resources. After a short recall of the history of the CERN EP Electronics Pool, the current after-LEP situation is reviewed. A new policy for the pre-LHC era is finally described.
